Our Café & Lounge has an exotic name, as neither the Mandara (coral tree), nor its unique, crested, colourful flower is known in Hungary. The flamboyance and diversity of this special plant is what we would like to evoke in the confectionery and café of Mala Garden Hotel, Mandara Café & Lounge.
Let the Pictures Speak
Mandara Café & Lounge awaits its guests all year around, with a new selection of cakes each day. In the summer season (June, July, August) we also offer bistro food for our guests besides cakes.
The cakes created by our confectionery chef are prepared here from selected seasonal ingredients, making sure that only the best is used for the cakes; for example, we only use Belgian chocolate for preparing our desserts, which are free of flavouring and colouring.
We are prepared to cater for special dietary needs, as our menu always features a few sugar-, gluten- and lactose-free desserts made with dates, giving a chance to everyone to give in to those sweet temptations…
Mandara Café & Lounge has also something to offer if you only want to enjoy a drink: home-made lemonades and syrups, Hungarian craft beer specialties, exclusive premium-quality drinks and coffee specialties are awaiting our guests.
There is nothing better than having a subtle, sensual espresso or a glass of merlot while admiring the beautiful panorama of Lake Balaton, may it be any season of the year.
